DROP AND GO / WALKING PATHS / PARKING LOT 

Drop and Go will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025 – ARRIVAL ONLY
Drop and Go is a safe and systematic process for parents to drop children off during arrival time ONLY by car — very similar to an airport drop off zone. Thank you for adhering to the following guidelines to ensure the safety of our students, staff and families:

• Drop + Go is during ARRIVAL only
• Begins at 8:25AM and ends at 8:35AM
• When entering the parking lot follow the ONE WAY signs ALWAYS. (Turn RIGHT into the parking lot).
• Parents MUST stay in the car
• Students exit the passenger side of the car at the front door of the building (DO NOT exit the car until you are at the front door of the school) and go to their classroom door. 
• Cars must exit the parking lot immediately following the car in front of you (do not pass the car in front of you)
• Please remember these guidelines are in place for the safety of all children.
• Please remember you cannot pass a bus loading or unloading children. This is very important!
• Please note that we have many Day Care Vehicles that may not look like a school bus, but they are afforded the same rights as our school buses as they are transporting our students!
• Parents picking up their children at dismissal need to utilize the sidewalks. We cannot have anyone walking through the parking lot for safety reasons.

Walking Paths
The walking path on the north side of the building that connects to Northway Drive and Kensington Lane is accessible for pedestrians.  Please consider using this path during arrival and dismissal.  If you decide to park along the street on Brookside, Kensington or Northway, please adhere to all street signs. The Hanver Park Police Department will be reinforcing no parking zones.  

The bridge connecting Northway Drive to Fox School is now open.

Parking Lot Reminders

 The school parking lot will be closed during the following times for everyone’s safety. No moving vehicles are permitted in the parking lot during these times:

• Mornings: Monday through Friday, 8:20am – 8:40am.  
• Afternoons: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 2:50pm – 3:10pm
• Afternoons: Wednesday, 2:20pm – 2:40pm

• Due to the limited number of parking spaces for staff, we encourage parents to refrain from parking in the lot 
• To ensure our bus riders are safe, we ask that there are no moving cars in the parking lot when the lot is closed.
• Parents picking up their children at dismissal need to utilize the sidewalks.  We cannot have anyone walking through the parking lot for safety reasons.

Fox staff will be enforcing these guidelines before and after school.  Thank you for your support and cooperation to ensure the safety of our students, staff and families.
