District 54 schools closed through April 30

Special Announcement from Principal Colette Bell

Anne Fox Community,

Last night at the District 54 Board Meeting, I was appointed the Assistant Superintendent of Professional Learning effective July 1, 2020. Therefore my role as the principal at Anne Fox will conclude at the end of this school year. In this new position, I will have the opportunity to support schools across District 54.  The past six years serving our community has been filled with lasting memories. During my time at Fox I have enjoyed getting to know the wonderful families that make this school so special.

It has been a pleasure collaborating with the students, teachers and community. Our students here are amazing and it has been a joy to watch them grow and reach their highest potential.  Each child that has walked through the door has made a lasting impact on me. Anne Fox is filled with talented teachers who come to school each day to teach and serve the students in their classrooms. In addition, I appreciate the genuine partnership we have created between school and home. I value those relationships and believe it is the foundation for student success.  Thank you for our time together as I have learned so much from all of you. I will take those life lessons with me.

Superintendent Andy DuRoss has begun searching for the next principal of Anne Fox Elementary School. When the School Board has made the appointment I will work with the incoming principal to ensure a smooth transition for our Fox community.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family and for entrusting us with your children. It has been my honor to be a member of the Fox community and I will treasure the memories we have built over the years.
